Shasha's First Concert

Last Saturday night was Shasha's first concert organized by her kindergarten. I was so excited to see her perform on stage. Biasa la kannn... mothers memang over sikit bab bab macam ni..

We were asked to send her to her kindy before 4 pm so that the teachers can get the children ready before the concert. Memula I macam silap faham and thought that I have to send her over to Putrajaya (the location of the concert) and have to dress her up complete with nice make up. That's what was written on Shasha's communication book. Nasib baik I called her principal before we go off to Putrajaya.

Lepas hantar Shasha, we all pergi ke IOI Mall coz hubby would like to find some gadgets for his works. Sekali tengok ada clearance sale for electronic items. So, we grabbed a Canon handycam for just RM 899 only. Ingat nak pakai masa concert Shasha la kononnya coz videocam yang kitorang ada dah rosak, malas nak betulkan. Sekali hubby macam tak reti nak charge the battery. Sepatutnya masa charge kena off tapi dia on kan. So sudahnya we all bawak 2 kamera je la pergi concert tu. Hampehh...

We all gerak after Maghrib. The concert starts at 8.30 pm. Singgah McD tapau dinner sebab tau concert tu tak provide food for parents. Bila sampai Putrajaya punyala melilau mata nak carik auditorium. Sekali rupanya dia letak signboard auditorium tu kat dalam bangunan. Mana la orang nampak dengan waktu malamnya...'pandai' betullah... Bila dah masuk that building, lagi satu masalah pulak tak tahu mana nak pergi sebab langsung tak ada apa-apa signboard ke arrow ke untuk tunjuk arah ke auditorium. I guess memang ramai parents sesat nak cari auditorium tu that night.

Bila dah sampai auditorium tu, the kids tengah ambil gambar graduation (only for the 6 yrs old). Cari tempat duduk ada ke hubby nak duduk kat atas. I rasa duduk kat bawah lagi dekat & nampak clear. Actually ada 2 kindy yang buat performance that night, Seri Kembangan and Seri Taming (ni kat mana pun I tak tau).

Bila concert start aje, parents apalagi, excited terlebih la. MC dah cakap jangan duduk kat ruang tengah sebelah bawah yang khas untuk cameraman tapi ramai jugak yang degil nak close up gambar anak. Hihihi... biasa la tu.. I dengan hubby malas nak turun, ambil gambar & video dari atas je. Tapi memang best la their performances. Especially yang Seri Kembangan punya. Ada lagu Bila Larut Malam, Barbie Girl, I Like To Move It Move It, Daddy Cool, Kabhi Kushi Kabhi Gam & macam-macam lagi la. Shasha buat Indian dance dalam Kabhi Kushi Kabhi Gam. Haha... kelakar sungguh tengok dia menari dengan kepala asyik senget je. Budak lain takde pulak senget macam tu. Tapi enjoy betul tengok all of the performances that night sampai rasa nak kencing pun kena tahan. Macam tu sekali.

Bila tengok keseluruhan concert, I rasa Seri Kembangan is a way better. Tarian diorang lagi susah & banyak steps. Kagum tau tengok the kids can memorize all the steps and enjoy themselves on the stage. Terjerit-jerit & tergelak-gelak mak bapak tengok.

Anyway, I'm so proud of my little munchkin, Shasha. I think any parents will feel the same after watching their kids performing that night. Kids these days are more talented than the older generation, don't you think so?
