Labbaikallah...

My parents-in-law (PIL) baru balik dari Mekah last Saturday. They arrived at KLIA at 3 am. The flight was originally scheduled at 10.30 pm on the day before but at the last minute, was delayed.

I was supposed to go to my company annual dinner on the Friday night, 27th Nov. I had registered my name and hubby's on the 2nd of November. 2 weeks after that, I was informed that my PIL were scheduled to arrive at KLIA on Friday, 26th. Only on Tuesday 23rd I was informed that the flight was actually on the 27th. There was a miscommunication between my hubby and his sister. So, I was kelam kabut coz I've already committed to go for the dinner. If I couldn't make it, I'll be charged RM200, RM100 for my hubby's registration and another RM100 for the penalty for me because of not showing up.

RM200 is not a small amount for me. So I appealed to my HR, not to deduct my salary because of not going to the dinner. Nasib baiklah dapat... Kalau takkk... abang, please ganti balik duit okeh.. Siapa suruh tak check betul-betul flight schedule tu...?? But, it turned out that we were lucky for not attending the dinner as my friends said it was really not as what was expected. Sangat tak best.

I didn't go to the airport as it was really late. My hubby and his siblings went there at 3 am. At the airport, they realized that my MIL's two bags were missing. Both are large bags. Tabung Haji said the bags was left behind at Jeddah and it will take about a month to retrieve back those bags.

When I was at my mom's house during the Eid, my mom asked me if I have register my name at Tabung Haji to go for performing hajj. I simply said 'no' .. and I was scolded. Heheh.. My mom said she registered 6 months ago and was told that her turn would be on year 2025. Lamanyaaa..!! So the point is, I have to register now so that by the time I'm ready to go, I don't have to wait very long for my turn. Actually my mom had already performed hajj with my late father when I was in Standard Two. So I was 8 years old then, my younger sister was barely 4 years old and my brother was not existed yet : ) All of us, together with my elder sister who was 11 years old were put under my grandmother's care while our parent's are away. Nasib baiklah my father sempat pergi, coz he passed away when I was 15.

The truth is, I'm a bit afraid to register now. Maybe now banyak dosa kot.. haha.. But my mom's right. There's no harm to register now. When the time comes, insya Allah, Allah akan permudahkan. I think I'll register myself together with hubby, on January next year, because he's so tied up with his projects now.
